From 8am, join the MCEC team for a warm welcome and a chance to settle in. Online attendees will be walked through our digital event platform, while our in-person guests can explore the space and enjoy an unconventional breakfast prepared onsite by our award-winning chefs. This is the perfect time to set up your platform profile and select your topic tags to make sure you’re getting the most out of your morning.
The event will officially commence with a traditional, yet ‘unconventional’, Welcome to Country ceremony performed by a First Nations group, followed by a special Ministerial address, an introduction from your MC for the day, and a word from our CEO, Peter King.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri people, on which Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is built. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.
